• Is a fashion stylist and personal shopper for average people or just for the rich and famous?

This service is available to everyone no matter what your shopping budget or lifestyle needs. Everyone wants to feel and look their best and that's what I help you do.

• What are some of the reasons I might have for wanting to work with a fashion stylist or personal shopper?

Maybe you need a new YOU! Do you always buy the same thing and never feel like you are truly expressing yourself? Maybe shopping overwhelms you. I can help! Maybe there is a big event, new job, or interview coming up and you need to put your best foot forward. Having someone with an objective eye looking at your wardrobe with you can make all the difference.

• How can a fashion stylist/personal shopper simplify my wardrobe?

Eliminating the things that DON'T work for you and guiding you into making new choices that suit YOUR own style, body shape, budget, lifestyle, and personality.

• Where does a wardrobe consultation take place?

Image consultations usually take place in a neutral place, convenient to the client. Walk-Throughs usually take place in your home.

• What does it cost to work with a personal shopper?

There are several packages to choose from and you can even customize for your personal needs. Consultations begin with at $75/hr rate with a $20 travel charge for consultations scheduled under 2 hours.

• During a Walk-Through consultation, do I have to throw away a lot of things?

You make the final decision about what you want to keep and what you want to replace. My role as your fashion consultant is the guide you in making a decision about your existing wardrobe.

• How organized do I need to be in advance of my Walk-Through?

That is completely up to you. Usually, I will provide you will an organization sheet during our Image Consultation that can be used as a guide to organizing your wardrobe/closet for our Walk-Through. Organization of your wardrobe will definitely save you time and money.

• Do I choose where we shop or does the personal shopper?

My aim is to "Encourage not to Enforce" my taste on you. Choosing where to shop is a collaborative effort. I will guide you based on your lifestyle, body shape, personal style and budget. We can shop at any store from Target and Macy's to Nordstroms and Neiman Marcus.

• Do you work with plus size men and women?

Yes, I work with men and women of all sizes and shapes. Everyone deserves to be fashion forward. My goal as your fashion stylist and personal shopper is to help you look as good as you fee. 

• Is there anything else I need to know before working with a fashion stylist/personal shopper?

One shopping rule: YOU MUST TRY ON ANYTHING I ASK YOU TO TRY ON. You don't have to buy it, but trying it on can be eye opening and expands your options of colors, styles, and fabrics.

• How long is a personal shopping consultation?

That is completely up to you. The average is 2 hours, but can be shorter or longer depending on your needs, time, and budget.

• I need help choosing the right outfit for a special night...can Declarations help me?

I can shop with/for you to ensure that all eyes are on you for your special evening. I am available on retainer for such emergencies. I will work with you when and how you need!
